To get started: few options, big pictures and the teacher’s voice.
The peacock loves to open its feather fan! Slide your finger around it to open it and go back to close it. You can also use the plus and minus.
Each feather in the fan has a color. Open the fan slowly and stop when the feather with the color we ask for shows up.
The peacock wants to play hide-and-seek! Tap a card to put it in front of it. To make it show up again, tap the card and take it away.
This is the peacock's geoboard. Tap a glowing peg, then the other one, and the rubber band stretches between them.
More pieces that look alike, asking for attention and memory.
The peacock wants to show exactly the right number of feathers. Open or close the fan until it has the feathers we ask for.
The eyes on the feathers show up for just a moment and disappear. Look closely, without counting one by one, and open the fan with the same amount.
Each clear card has a picture in one spot. Put the cards that make the model picture into the frame, with none extra and none missing.
Look at the model shape and make the same one on the geoboard: tap the pegs, one after another, and go back to the first one to close it. It can be anywhere.
Bigger challenges and the party that reviews everything the child learned.
Now the order matters: the card that goes in later ends up in front. Look at who is in front of whom in the model and stack them the same way.
Now there's no model: listen to the clue and make up the shape on the geoboard. A corner is each point of the shape.
The peacock opens and closes its feathers and you do the math. Leave the fan the way it ended up at the end of the story.
Region party
The peacock opened the prettiest fan in the park for the party! Let's remember everything you played with it.
Region party
At the party, the peacock's fan does it all: it opens all the way, stops at the color we ask for, shows the right number and helps with math.
Region party
The party flags come in lots of shapes. Copy the model shapes and make up the ones the clue asks for.
