To get started: few options, big pictures and the teacher’s voice.
The hedgehog found some things in the garden. Count the apples and the leaves and color one box in the column for each one.
The hedgehog found a magnet! Drag the magnet to the things, or tap them: some stick to the magnet and others don't. Pick up everything that sticks.
The hedgehog wants to sift the garden soil. Drag your finger back and forth on the sieve: small things fall through the little holes, big things stay.
Now there are more things. Tap each one to mark that you counted it and color in the right column for each one.
Shake the sieve until all the small things fall through. Then count how many big things stayed on top.
More pieces that look alike, asking for attention and memory.
Before testing, think: what will stick to the magnet? Tap the things you think will stick. Then the magnet goes over all of them and shows if you were right.
Make a chart of what the hedgehog found. The tallest column shows what there is the most of. Then answer by looking at the chart.
Think before you shake: what is too big to pass through the little holes? Tap what will stay in the sieve and then shake to check.
Move the magnet over everything and pick up what sticks. At the end, count how many things are hanging on the magnet.
Bigger challenges and the party that reviews everything the child learned.
Make the chart and then put the columns together: how many things did the hedgehog find in all? Count the pictures in all the columns together.
Now there are small, medium and big things. In the big-hole sieve, only what is bigger than the hole stays on top. Compare the sizes before you shake!
Region party
The hedgehog uncurled from its spiky ball and called everyone to the burrow party! Let's remember everything you played with it.
Region party
The guests brought presents for the hedgehog. Make the party chart and answer by looking at the columns.
Region party
At the party lots of things fell on the floor. Use the magnet to pick up what sticks, and think before you test!
